Within Southern NH Medical Center's Behavioral Health Unit, we understand the vital connection between physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, ranging from emergency care to intensive outpatient programs. Our Emergency Department serves the diverse population of Southern New Hampshire with a 30-bed critical care unit. As a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Accredited Stroke Facility, we have taken proactive steps to ensure safe care for our psychiatric population through a 6-bed secured intradepartmental unit.
As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Inpatient Behavioral Health Worker cares for adult patients with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders. Our staff works under the direction of RNs and is accountable to the Director of Behavioral Health Services. The Behavioral Health Worker will complete a competency-based orientation to serve the Behavioral Health patient population effectively.
