Job description

A hospital in the South is seeking a board certified or board eligible neurosurgeon to join its well-established employed provider group. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a thriving practice that values work-life balance. This Level III, 260-bed hospital is one of the most comprehensive medical centers in its region, providing high-quality care to patients and their families. You will partner with the current neurosurgeon who will welcome a new grad, and happily provide mentorship, or an experienced physician.

For over 100 years this network has served as a community staple, growing from a modest 100-bed hospital in 1925 to a now robust healthcare system that includes four hospitals, four nursing homes, over 200 specialty physicians, and nearly 3,000 staff members. Their service lines include a state-of-the-art cancer center, life-saving cardiology care, minimally invasive surgery, maternity care, and more. There is a new orthopedic center being built across from the hospital which will house neurosurgery and neurology. There is plenty of volume to be had as cases have been migrating out and can now be captured.

• Clinic integrated with Neurology

• Someone with endovascular interests can see these cases which are currently being handled by the IR team

• Neurodiagnostic services including EEG, Nerve Conduction, EMG and Sleep Lab
• Inpatient and outpatient rehab services with brand-new Advanced Therapy and Sports Medicine facility
• Up to 10 days of call per month, flexible call schedule and not onerous
• Region's only Gamma Knife, Perfexion

Benefits:
• Competitive base salary with RVU bonus
• Eligible for productivity bonus in year one
• CME allowance
• PTO annually
• Malpractice insurance
• Relocation allowance up to $15,000
• Sign-on bonus
• Roth 403(b) retirement plan
