The Business Management Branch is seeking a detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent provides analytical and technical support in transportation, event coordination, relocation, recruitment, job assistance, amenities, and work schedules related to the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Transportation Rule 2202.
The incumbent manages Southern California asset management, a role that is time-sensitive and requires strong written and verbal communication skills. The incumbent should be courteous, professional, provide timely responses to internal and external customers, ensure thoroughness of work, complete assignments promptly, and promote the Department's Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid in-office and in-state telework arrangement. The extent of telework is at the agency's discretion and depends on the California Air Resources Board's (CARB) current telework policy. While telework may be supported, some in-person attendance is also required.
Starting July 1st, 2025, per Executive Order N-22-25, CARB employees will be required to report to the office four days a week.
Positions at CARB may be eligible for telework with in-person attendance based on operational needs, under Government Code 14200 for eligible California residents, and subject to telework eligibility criteria outlined in the CalEPA telework policy. Employees residing outside California are not eligible for telework. All employees may be required to report to the designated headquarters at their own expense, as specified in their duty statement.
The candidate must possess SCAQMD Rule 2202 Certification or be willing to obtain it within three months of hire.
