HMSHost is seeking a Project Director to provide oversight and construction management for restaurant and retail development projects in the Southeast Region. The role requires residing locally and travel up to 75% to meet airports, brands, and partners.

You will supervise field construction activities, coordinate with GC’s, architecture/engineering consultants, and ensure conformance to quality, schedule and budget.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in design/build management or construction in hospitality or retail
• 3+ years leading a D&C team
• Bachelor’s in architecture, engineering, or construction management (counts toward 3 of 8 years)
• MBA or related master’s adds up to 2 years
• Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience 3–5 years

Responsabilidades

• Oversees field construction activities and coordinates with GC, vendors, and project managers
• Directs external architecture and engineering consultants through approvals
• Manages submittals, permits, and budget-related documentation with stakeholders
• Leads contractor qualification, bidding, contracting, and change orders
• Collaborates with Estimating and Design on project estimates
• Coordinates with Procurement on bidding and delivery of items
• Leads construction meetings and status updates
• Monitors project schedule and financial forecast; reports variances
• Prepares explanations for budget overruns and coordinates reimbursements
• Oversees project closeout with cost statements and as-built drawings
