Job summary

Avolta seeks a Project Director to provide oversight and construction management for restaurant and retail developments, ensuring quality, schedules, and budgets. The role covers the Southeast Region and requires residence nearby and 75% travel to airports and branch locations.

You will coordinate general contractors, equipment vendors, and external consultants, and partner with estimating, design, procurement teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• 8+ years in design/build management/construction in hospitality, F&B, or retail.
• MBA or related master’s degree adds 2 years credit toward eight-year requirement.
• Experience leading D&C professionals and coordinating multiple contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversees field construction activities and coordinates contractors and vendors.
• Leads design/architecture consultants through plan development and approvals.
• Manages submittals, approvals, changes, and budget within policy.
• Monitors project schedule and provides status updates to stakeholders.
• Controls project financial forecast and prepares construction authorizations.
