Job summary

HDR is seeking a BES Regional Business Group Director in the Southeast region to lead and grow HDR's Building Engineering Services across five states. The role reports to regional leadership and requires strong operations, client development, and risk management skills.

Based in the Southeast, you will manage diverse teams, guide strategic hires, and ensure high-quality delivery while advancing HDR values and employee ownership across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional, architecture, engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams.
• Strong business skills and alignment with HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain an effective regional BES program and staff alignment.
• Lead regional initiatives with Market Sector and Leadership.
• Collaborate with other Regional Directors to drive BES strategies.
• Oversee P&L performance and regional risk management.
• Participate in regional senior leadership meetings.
• Ensure MOA compliance across the region.
• Mentor Area Business Group Managers and key personnel.
• Support and review marketing forecasts and staffing needs.
• Foster quality improvements and HDR values.
