Job summary

Libertas Funding, LLC in South Florida seeks a Director of Commercial Private Credit to drive deal flow, structure transactions, and expand the private credit platform across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

You will originate and execute financing for lower and middle-market companies ($10M–$150M in revenue), manage the full deal lifecycle, collaborate with underwriting and risk teams, and help grow the region's premier private credit practice.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have 10+ years in commercial lending or private credit.
• Proven track record of deal origination and execution.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Solid understanding of the financial markets and alternative financing.
• Ability to self-source opportunities in the assigned market channel.
• Strong South Florida market network.

Responsibilities

• Source, originate, and structure commercial private credit transactions.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual funding targets.
• Build relationships with companies, financial sponsors and strategic advisors.
• Execute Southeast Commercial Private Credit Playbook.
• Establish Libertas as a leading private credit provider in the region.
• Oversee full deal lifecycle.
• Partner with underwriting and risk teams.
• Partner with senior leadership on growth initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Independently manage and consistently meet your funding targets and goals.
