Job summary

Libertas Funding, LLC seeks a VP of Commercial Private Credit to originate and structure transactions across South Florida, focusing on mid-market companies with $10M-$150M revenue. You will manage your pipeline independently, pursuing direct sales channels and deep executive relationships to deliver tailored financing solutions.

The role targets funding targets with a focus on growth through an established playbook, working closely with underwriting and risk teams and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial lending or private credit.
• Self-motivated with ability to self-source opportunities in assigned market channel.
• Strong track record of deal origination and execution.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and alternative financing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, originate, and structure commercial private credit transactions.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual funding targets.
• Build relationships with companies, financial sponsors and strategic advisors.
• Execute Southeast Commercial Private Credit Playbook.
• Establish Libertas as a leading private credit provider in the region.
• Oversee full deal lifecycle.
• Partner with underwriting and risk teams.
• Partner with senior leadership on growth initiatives.
• Independently manage and consistently meet funding targets and goals.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
