Job summary

HDR, Inc. is looking for a Regional Recruiting Director to lead recruitment efforts in the South Central region, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas. This role involves supervising a team of recruiters and ensuring effective talent acquisition strategies that align with business needs.

The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in recruitment, strong communication skills, and expertise in recruitment technologies. This full-time position is based in Austin, Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive recruitment experience within the region.
• Previous experience leading recruiters as a supervisor or mentor.
• Expert knowledge of recruitment technologies and strategies.
• Strong communication skills across interpersonal, written, and presentation areas.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Operate a full recruitment desk with dedicated internal customers.
• Supervise and lead onboarding of Area, Senior, and Entry-Level recruiters.
• Partner with operational and business group leadership to drive talent acquisition strategy.
• Conduct routine in-person meetings and monthly check-ins to provide recruitment metrics.
• Lead diversity recruitment efforts and partner with dedicated diversity resources.
