Job description

LIQUI MOLY USA is seeking a candidate to fill a position in the South Central area of the United States. Join our team and you will work with people who think positively about the future and are upbeat about life.

In this position, you will take an active part in the successful growth of our company. You will be responsible for managing a team of enthusiastic sales professionals focused on sales and company growth, marketing efforts, and business expansion throughout this assigned area.

LIQUI MOLY is a leading manufacturer of OE-type high-quality motor oils, additives, and other lubricant products with headquarters located in Ulm, Germany. Since 1957 we have supplied the German marketplace with innovative quality oil and additive products for the automotive, powersports/marine, and industrial markets. In 1992 we began our sales effort in the United States and these past 10 years sales have grown significantly.

To continue our successful growth, we continue to expand our sales team. This opportunity provides a competitive compensation package D.O.E., plus a performance bonus. Also included are travel expense reimbursement, car allowance, business auto fuel, tablet, iPhone, 401K plan, health insurance, paid vacation, and holidays.

* This position is a home office-based assignment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead regional sales managers to achieve sales goals and inspire high performance to achieve each RSM’s KPIs and selling targets.
  • Work with your team in their specific markets to grow sales with existing customers and pursue new ones.
  • Consistently communicate with teammates individually as well as in team meetings. Additionally, solid communication with Sales leadership is required.
  • Work cohesively with the marketing and sales admin team to best use their resources and services to support your team’s success.
  • Aggressively implement promotions with your team with clarity and excitement to achieve sales successfully.
  • Review weekly team performance reports to help the team best manage goal planning and efficiency in visiting their territory base of trade accounts.
  • Identify training needs to leverage our staff technical trainers to increase product knowledge and sales results.
  • Territory Base: South Central US, Texas Based primarily responsible for the Texas, and Louisiana areas.
  • Travel periodically into all markets to work with the assigned sales team.
  • Execute efficient time management and strong organizational skills.
  • Must have demonstrated people skills and people management in current or previous positions.
  • Manage operating expenses and company assets to the best efficiency yet with the biggest effect in your market responsibility.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with an upbeat selling style and energetic attitude.
  • Be able to work weekend industry events periodically. Occasional overnight travel.
  • Efficient time management and exceptional organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong presentation abilities to customers and group audiences.
  • Must reside in the South Central US area.
