Job summary

The Heritage at Brentwood, located in Brentwood, TN, is seeking a full-time cook for Fireside Grille and Southern Oak. You will prepare meals for residents and guests, follow standardized recipes, and work with the culinary team to ensure top quality in temperature and presentation.

Minimum 2 years of cooking experience; culinary education and supervisor experience preferred; ServSafe certification required. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and DailyPay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cooking experience in hotel, restaurant, country club, or similar industry.
• Culinary education and supervisor experience preferred.
• Effective communication with residents, guests, and other departments.
• Knowledge of proper and safe operation/maintenance of kitchen tools and equipment.
• ServSafe Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all planned food and menu items per Chef guidance and recipes.
• Collaborates with culinary staff to ensure quality service for residents.
• Determines quantities of food and supplies for daily menus and ensures timely procurement.
• Maintains quality, temperature, and presentation of all food.
• Maintains kitchen sanitation and hygiene to health department standards.
• Adheres to personal hygiene and dress code.
