Job Summary

As a Sous Chef II, you will assist in the success of the food program and oversee culinary functions, including planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation, while adhering to client, health, and company standards. You will also motivate, train, develop, and direct back-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking
  • Help plan and create menus
  • Implement new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams
  • Manage cost controls and expenditures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of culinary experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Experience in various food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or healthcare
  • Knowledge of food industry trends, sanitation, safety, and cost control
  • Ability to manage production sheets and lead a team
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts preferred
