Job Summary

As a Sous Chef II, you will support the success of the food program and oversee culinary operations. Responsibilities include planning, ordering, inventory, and food prep, while adhering to client culture, health regulations, and our standards of quality, freshness, and presentation. You will also motivate, train, and develop back-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking
  • Help plan and create menus
  • Implement new culinary programs with the team
  • Manage cost controls and expenditures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3 years of culinary experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Experience in various food service settings
  • Knowledge of food trends, safety, sanitation, and presentation
  • Ability to manage production sheets
  • Leadership and coaching skills
  • ServSafe or health certification preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts preferred
