Responsibilities
  1. Ensures all food served is of high quality, properly prepared according to recipe, and expedited to all outlets smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Assists in establishing goals, standards, and objectives to enhance the organization's prestige and profitability.
  3. Supervises the entire kitchen staff in the absence of the Executive Chef, providing guidance to all kitchen associates.
  4. Maintains accurate records, including use records, roast meat charts, and recipe cards.
  5. Prepares recipe cards and picture presentations for all menu items.
  6. Trains kitchen associates in job duties, including plate presentation and display work.
  7. Writes schedules, evaluates, and directs all personnel.
  8. Maintains open communication between management and associates.
  9. Provides associates with necessary tools and equipment for their jobs.
  10. Takes immediate action on kitchen problems.
  11. Participates in department meetings, kitchen inventory, and the MOD program.
  12. Ensures timely submission of payroll hours to the Accounting Department.
