Job Summary:
As a Cook at Bardea Steak, you’ll play a crucial role in executing a menu that’s creative, elevated, and always evolving. You’ll work alongside a talented and driven culinary team, contributing to a kitchen that values discipline, detail, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef
Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all food items during service
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
Keep a clean and organized work area while following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist in receiving deliveries and rotating stock properly
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
Participate in prep work for daily service and upcoming menus
Be open to learning, improving, and contributing to a positive kitchen culture
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen preferred
Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
A sense of urgency, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
Ability to follow recipes and directions with precision
Team-player attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
ServSafe certification is a plus
