Job Summary

Summary: Reports to Operations Manager. Responsible for preparing and cooking foods, coordinating activities of cooks and food-service associates, and assuming responsibilities in the absence of the Operations Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Cooks and prepares food following recipes and standards, meeting deadlines.
  • Supervises and trains food service associates.
  • Stores food following safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, and temperature maintenance.
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment and work areas.
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints and relays information to supervisors.
  • Understands and explains menu items accurately.
  • Manages peak production and service hours.
  • Monitors inventory, deliveries, and tracks production, consumption, and waste.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
