We are hiring immediately for full-time SOUS CHEF positions.

Job Summary: Assists the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking foods, coordinates activities of cooks and food-service associates, and assumes responsibility in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Essential Duties:

  • Cooks and prepares food following recipes and standards, meeting deadlines.
  • Supervises hourly food service staff, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and counseling.
  • Stores food properly, following safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, and temperature maintenance.
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment and workstation.
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints professionally.
  • Understands and explains menu items accurately.
  • Monitors peak production hours.
  • Manages inventory and supplies, tracks production and waste.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
