Job Opportunity: Hourly Sous Chef at Eurest

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Hourly Sous Chef position at Eurest.

Location: 401 W. Las Colinas Blvd, Irving, TX 75039 (Online applications accepted only)

Schedule: Full-time, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends based on business needs. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous Sous Chef experience preferred. *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking foods, coordinate activities of cooks and food-service associates, and assume leadership in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare food following recipes and standards, meet deadlines.
  • Supervise food service staff, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and discipline.
  • Store food properly, follow safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment and work area.
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints and relay information to supervisors.
  • Understand and explain menu items.
  • Manage peak production and service hours.
  • Monitor inventory and supplies, track production and waste.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
