Overview

We are hiring immediately for full- and part-time SOUS CHEF positions.

Location

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef and coordinate activities of cooks and food-service associates. Maintain production standards and ensure deadlines are met based on production orders.
• Supervise hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, training, and counseling; participate in reviews and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Store food in designated areas following all applicable safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils; keep workstation clean during service and comply with sanitation, safety, and merchandising requirements.
• Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relay information to the supervisor.
• Demonstrate understanding of daily menu items and explain them to associates and customers.
• Monitor peak production and service hours; track inventory, production, and waste; inform supervisor when supplies are low.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Compensation

Pay range: $17.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour.
