The Joinery Hotel, a Curio Collection by Hilton located in Downtown Pittsburgh, is seeking a Sous Chef!
Joinery Hotel Pittsburgh, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is a boutique hotel with 185 rooms and serves as a local gathering place in Downtown Pittsburgh’s Golden Triangle. It reflects the city’s legacy, pride, and grit, offering a modern, cozy space for travelers. The hotel features an experiential lobby with a unique check-in experience, a tasting library, nearly 800 sq ft of meeting and event spaces, and a 10th-floor outdoor terrace with city views.

Job Overview
The Sous Chef manages daily kitchen operations, overseeing the production, preparation, and presentation of food for the hotel’s restaurant(s) and room service. The role ensures a safe, sanitary work environment, maintains quality standards, and assists in menu development and cost control.

Education/Formal Training
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
One to two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Knowledge/Skills
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry items, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks in varying temperatures, including freezer and hot kitchen environments.
