Position: Sous Chef
Job Overview:
Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards, production, and portion standards, as verified by servers. Start food items prepared ahead of time, ensuring not to overprepare. Date all food containers and rotate perishables according to Crescent standards, maintaining proper temperatures.
Reports To: Executive Chef
Customer Satisfaction: Maintain professionalism and courtesy to ensure positive guest interactions. Every staff member is a guest relations ambassador.
Work Habits: Meet and exceed hotel standards for procedures, dress, punctuality, and adaptability. Solve routine problems and seek help when needed.
Safety & Security: Follow hotel policies to ensure safety and security, including proper handling of chemicals, key controls, and hazard reporting.
