Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivatedSous Chefto join our culinary leadership team with a primary focus onà la carte operations. This role oversees the day-to-day execution of our restaurant and in-room dining menus, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in upscale, high-volume à la carte kitchens and a commitment to culinary innovation and team development.
In addition to leading the à la carte operation, this position willoccasionally support banquet food preparationas business needs require, ensuring seamless collaboration across all culinary functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the à la carte kitchen operation, ensuring the timely and consistent execution of all dishes according to brand standards and guest expectations
  • Supervise and train line cooks and kitchen staff to maintain a high-performing, cohesive team
  • Monitor and maintain quality, presentation, portion control, and food safety standards at all times
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on seasonal menu development and implementation
  • Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and cost control to meet productivity and financial targets
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas in compliance with local health regulations and company policies
  • Assist in the ordering and inventory of food supplies to support à la carte and banquet service needs
  • Occasionally assist withbanquet food preparation and execution, ensuring consistency across all F&B outlets
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and culinary excellence
Qualifications:
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Experience in banquet or catering operations is a plus
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends, plating techniques, and dietary accommodations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe) required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
