Job summary

American Food & Vending is seeking a seasoned culinary leader to support the Executive Chef in San Antonio. You will oversee food stations and catering events, ensure recipe standards and safety protocols, and lead BOH staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in culinary arts or hospitality, with at least three years in a leadership role, and strong experience in scheduling, hiring, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in culinary arts or hospitality (or culinary degree) preferred.
• Three years experience in a similar culinary leadership role.
• Prior experience planning and managing employee schedules, hiring, and staff development.
• Strong time management skills in a time sensitive, fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of local and state food safety regulations.
• Able to lift to 50lbs, stand, walk, and bend for daily work.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, catering, ordering and inventory systems.
