Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Culinary Director and lead kitchen operations at Heritage Place Independent Living. You will prepare nutritious and appealing meals, supervise cooks, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment to ensure residents have a delightful dining experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as a Sous Chef or Assistant Culinary Director in a commercial kitchen.
• Current ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit required as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Culinary Director in day-to-day supervision of the culinary department.
• Oversee the department in the absence of the Culinary Director.
• Prepare menu items according to recipes and standards.
