Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Brasserie Ten Ten is seeking a sous chef to join our team. We desire someone passionate about culinary arts, capable of excelling in all kitchen aspects from baking and pasta to butchery and sauces. The candidate should enjoy teaching and coaching line cooks, overseeing kitchen operations when the chef is away, and possess leadership skills to uphold the traditional French and Colorado-inspired modern fine dining experience.

Requirements & Responsibilities:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a sous chef in a fine dining environment
  • Experience in a French scratch kitchen with a seasonally changing menu
  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine in daily kitchen operations, including station prep and training
  • Oversee all kitchen staff's work, ensuring quality, speed, and presentation
  • Manage, motivate, and mentor cooks; foster teamwork; assist with prep and plating
  • Conduct daily line-ups and contribute to staff education
  • Ensure high-quality raw ingredients are used
  • Maintain order, efficiency, and discipline in the kitchen
  • Organize cleaning and kitchen maintenance
  • Handle the physical and stress demands of a high-volume, fast-paced open kitchen
