Job summary

Bard College's Parkhurst Dining is seeking a skilled sous chef to lead our catering kitchen and support campus events with high-quality meals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Executive Chef in menu development and production sheets.
• Assist Executive Chef with regular inspections for sanitation and temperatures.
• Ensure recipe standards and consistency in product quality.

• Assist Executive Chef in regular inspections of the entire unit for sanitation, cleanliness, temperatures and using checklists as a guide.
• Verify that recipe standards and consistency is constantly being used to ensure a quality product every time.
