Job summary

Organo USA, Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Technician who supports the Engineering Manager in client projects.

The role requires CAD skills and strong Excel for data management, with a focus on supplier research and cost-effective sourcing on site in Phoenix, AZ. You will review specifications, collaborate with engineering and quality teams, manage supplier documentation, identify cost-saving opportunities, assess risks, and assist with piping design using CAD.

Qualifications

• General experience in CAD software.
• Strong Excel skills for data management and analysis.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical or structure or electric or CAD, logistic, procurement etc.
• Demonstrated computer literacy, required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, required.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, required.
• Ability to understand the designs of mechanical systems such as P&ID, Layout.

Responsibilities

• Supplier research and evaluation based on capability, cost, quality, and reliability.
• Negotiating pricing and contracting with procurement; defining delivery terms and technical requirements.
• Reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and engineering requirements.
• Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet project needs.
• Reviewing supplier documentation to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities through supplier optimization and market analysis.
• Assessing supply chain risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Maintaining strong supplier relationships for continuous improvement.
• Modifying 2D drawings using CAD software.
• Document control (customer submittals, internal docs, drawings).
• Site coordination checks from drawings; assist with piping design using CAD.
• Provide regular progress updates to the customer.
• Maintain attendance.
