Job summary

Polaris Mexico is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support strategic sourcing for Steering Wheels and Safety Nets, manage supplier performance, and align with quality, cost, delivery, and production requirements across multiple sites. You will execute RFQ activities, evaluate supplier capabilities, and help drive negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in sourcing or related fields, with strong analytical and organizational skills, ready

Position Summary

The Sourcing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting strategic sourcing activities and managing supplier performance within assigned commodities, including Steering Wheels and Safety Nets. This position supports supplier strategy, cost management, pricing accuracy, and sourcing initiatives while ensuring alignment with business priorities for delivery, quality, cost competitiveness, and new product integration. Acting as a key connection between suppliers and internal teams, the role also supports development, launch, and sustained production across multiple manufacturing sites while strengthening the Mexico supply base.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Background in Materials Planning, Production Planning, Engineering, or Manufacturing
• Knowledge of analytical tools, ERP systems, and web-based business systems
• Interest or experience in automotive, powersports, engines, or manufacturing environments

Position Overview

The Sourcing Specialist will support strategic sourcing activities for assigned commodities, including Steering Wheels and Safety Nets, while managing supplier relationships and ensuring alignment with quality, cost, delivery, and production requirements.

Key responsibilities include executing RFQ activities, evaluating supplier capabilities, supporting negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives, and contributing to supplier development and localization opportunities. The role will also be responsible for maintaining the Master Price List and processing price updates in the system for the CAB team, ensuring accurate and timely supplier pricing information.

The position will collaborate closely with Materials, Production Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to support sourcing decisions, new product launches, tooling activities, supplier capacity, and production continuity. Additional responsibilities include supporting total cost analysis, tariff mitigation, supplier risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
