Are you a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a passion for problem-solving? We're seeking a Contracts Sourcing Analyst to join our client's Sourcing Operations Support team. This is a crucial, hybrid role that acts as a central hub for all buying requests and is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As a key member of the team, you will be a "detective" of sorts—a proactive problem-solver who enjoys navigating complex processes to ensure smooth and timely procurement operations. You’ll be comfortable with ambiguity and ready to dig into details to get the job done right.
Location: Malvern, PA
Contract term: 6-month contract, with possibility for extension or conversion
What You'll Do
- Process and Manage Requests: Your primary responsibility will be to check the worklist for new requests, review them for accuracy, and gather any necessary information to move them forward in the procurement process.
- Support the Procurement Process: You will serve as the entry point for all buying requests, processing purchase order change requests, and ensuring the correct, most compliant buying channel is used.
- Communication & Support: You will provide direct support and research for the team, handle a shared mailbox with a 3-day SLA, and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. You'll need to be comfortable asking questions and providing clear, detailed information to others.
- Ensure Compliance: You will verify financial coding, apply internal policies, and ensure that all documentation is in good order for hand-off to other teams.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Strong time management, relationship management/communication, and a proven ability to quickly learn new processes and people.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive, inquisitive mindset with a love for solving puzzles and "owning" your work from start to finish.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with Oracle or AP is a significant plus. Experience with MS Dynamics CRM is also preferred.
- Education: An undergraduate degree in business or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
