Job summary

Cloud Network Technology USA, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing professional to manage the RFQ process and new vendor setup in a manufacturing environment in Houston, TX. The role focuses on cost savings, MOQ/MPQ optimization, and timely pricing submissions for customer approval.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and at least two years of purchasing or commodity management experience, with ERP data maintenance experience. Familiarity with Excel and Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly RFQ process for the site with domestic and overseas suppliers.
• Drive cost savings and optimize MOQ/MPQ and lead time.
• Validate and document RFQ information, prepare quotation reports, and submit pricing for customer approval.
• Set up new vendors with Legal and Finance departments.
• Maintain ERP data accuracy and data integrity between systems.
• Issue quarterly Schedule Agreement for the site.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies and GR issues.
• Identify opportunities and obtain customer approval for PPV/Re-quote.
• Coordinate with logistics on shipment freight estimation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for managing the RFQ (request for quotation) process as well as new vendor set up and PPV (published price variance)/Re-quote claims.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage quarterly RFQ process for the site with both domestic and oversea suppliers.
• Drive for cost saving and MOQ (minimum order quantity)/MP Q (minimum package quantity) and Lead Time optimization.
• Validate/document all RFQ information from suppliers, complete quotation reports and submit all pricing for customer's approval timely.
• Set up new vendors by working with the Legal and Finance departments.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP (enterprise resource planning) system and ensure data compliance between internal and external systems.
• Issue quarterly Schedule Agreement for the site.
• Assist with resolution of pricing discrepancy and GR (goods received) issues.
• Identify opportunities and work to get approval from customers for PPV (published price variance)/Re-quote.
• Work with logistic team on shipment freight estimation
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education and Experience:
