Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support strategic sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of materials, equipment, services, and supplier solutions.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and procurement leadership to execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, assist in contract negotiations, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5+ years in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience managing RFQs, supplier selection, and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and procurement activities for direct and indirect spend categories.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements are met.
• Prepare and issue RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Analyze supplier quotations, pricing models, and commercial proposals.
• Assist in contract negotiations and supplier agreement management.
• Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, service levels, and risk.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to support business needs.
• Maintain procurement and supplier data within ERP and sourcing systems.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with corporate procurement policies, GMP, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Track cost savings, cost avoidance, and supplier performance metrics.
• Support supplier onboarding, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and supply chain optimization.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5+ years of sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience managing RFQs, supplier selection, and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred

• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, medical device, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of GMP/cGMP regulated environments.
• Experience sourcing capital equipment, engineering services, laboratory equipment, or manufacturing materials.
• APICS, CPSM, CSCP, or related procurement certifications.
• Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
