Job summary

Community Health Network in Indianapolis is seeking a Sourcing Operations Analyst to drive operational excellence across sourcing workflows, pricing validation, supplier coordination, and system processes. This role supports Category Managers with data integrity and contract management while ensuring compliance and efficiency in sourcing activities.

Qualifications

  • Three years in healthcare, supply chain, procurement or operations experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, hospital administration, or related field.
  • In lieu of degree, combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, ability to conduct complex analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive change.

Responsibilities

  • Manage distributor pricing and validation processes to ensure accurate pricing across sourcing and purchasing systems.
  • Analyze pricing reports, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolution efforts with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Execute end-to-end sourcing operational workflows, including intake, tracking, prioritization, and coordination of sourcing requests.
  • Maintain data integrity across sourcing, contract management, and ERP systems through validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to resolve pricing, contract, and operational issues while maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and documentation to support sourcing visibility and decision-making.
  • Ensure sourcing records, contracts, and operational documentation remain accurate, organized, and audit‑ready.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing processes, increase efficiency, and reduce manual work through standardization and automation.
  • Support compliance with organizational policies, sourcing standards, and contract management practices.

The Sourcing Operations Analyst supports the Purchasing team by driving operational excellence across sourcing workflows, pricing validation, supplier coordination, and system processes. This role serves as a key resource in ensuring sourcing activities are accurate, compliant, and efficient, allowing Category Managers to focus on strategic initiatives, supplier partnerships, and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about process improvement and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage distributor pricing and validation processes to ensure accurate pricing across sourcing and purchasing systems.
  • Analyze pricing reports, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolution efforts with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.

Exceptional Skills And Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, hospital administration, or related field required.
  • In lieu of degree, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Three (3) years in healthcare, supply chain, procurement or operations experience required.
  • Previous experience with data analysis, reporting, pricing management, or contracts preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is required.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, ability to conduct complex analysis, and problem-solving
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive change.
  • This position will work a hybrid schedule.
