Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a high-caliber Sourcing Manager III based in Atlanta, GA, to lead global logistics sourcing activities including contracts, supplier performance, and cost optimization. You will partner with NCRV legal, regional procurement, and 3PL/GRE providers to drive strategic supplier relationships.

You will manage RFPs, pricing, tariffs, and routing guides for freight forwarders and NA trucking suppliers, while developing analytics for spend and driving supplier improvement plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is required.
  • 5–7 years of related experience is required.
  • Strong forecasting, negotiations, and contract management skills, including a working understanding of contractual terms and risk mitigation.
  • Understanding of legal aspects of ethical purchasing behaviors and ability to work with Legal on assuring those aspects.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams across organizational levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communications, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems; financial acumen a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create, negotiate, and maintain global logistics supplier contracts.
  • Support FAP for regional teams with supplier performance initiatives.
  • Manage NSR new supplier requests and align with global supply chain strategy.
  • Manage global freight forwarder relationships including RFP, pricing, tariffs and routing guides.
  • Oversee NA trucking suppliers (FTL/LTL) and small package carrier relationships; develop pricing and routing guides.
  • Lead relationships with global 3PL and GRE providers; drive pricing and improvements.
  • Escalate issues between operations and suppliers; ensure performance and capacity.
  • Develop analytics and reporting for transportation and warehousing spend for executives.
  • Support regional procurement with ad-hoc logistics requirements.
  • Drive disciplined sourcing processes via scorecards, supplier consolidation, and e-commerce tools.

TITLE: Sourcing Manager III
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA
  • Responsible for contract creation, negotiation of terms & conditions, and ongoing contract maintenance on a global basis for logistics (transportation & warehousing) suppliers. Liaison with both NCRV legal and local (Global) NCRV operations teams
  • Support FAP (freight, audit, and pay) for regional operational teams with any supplier improvement and corrective action initiatives attributed to supplier performance issues.
  • Manage commodity stream ownership of NSR (new supplier requests) involving due diligence vetting of new supplier solutions and alignment with overall global supply chain strategy.
  • Manage strategic relationship of global freight forwarders, including RFP, pricing (air and ocean), tariff, savings, and routing guide development/maintenance.
  • Manage strategic relationship of North America FTL/LTL trucking suppliers, including RFP, pricing, tariff, savings, and routing guide development/maintenance.
  • Manage strategic relationship of global transportation for small package carriers.
  • Manage strategic relationship of global/regional 3PL and GRE providers including RFP & pricing
  • Liaise escalations between operations team and logistics suppliers for performance, capacity, and payment issues.
  • Responsible for TMS rate, routing guide, and business rule creation/maintenance.
  • Develop analytics and reporting for transportation and warehousing spend for executive-level dissemination.
  • Support regional and local procurement teams as needed with ad-hoc requirements related to logistics.
  • Implement a rigorous and disciplined process for managing the supply base including leading periodic business reviews; monitoring and managing supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery, technology, service, and leadership); performing root cause analysis and proposing resolution; developing and monitoring supplier improvement plans; and drive significant change in the sourcing processes via e-commerce tools, supplier scorecards, supplier consolidation, etc.
  • Partner with key logistics teammates to develop and implement the strategy and execution of logistics sourcing activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • Strong forecasting, negotiations, and contract management skills, including a working understanding of contractual terms and conditions and risk mitigation.
  • Understanding of the legalities of ethical purchasing behaviors and the ability to work with Legal on assuring those aspects.
  • Ability to indirectly influence and lead cross-organizational and/or cross-functional teams, including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally at all organizational levels and/or with outside professionals.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving/troubleshooting, communications, presentation, and problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills.
  • Effective time/resource management and project management skills/capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of and experience with ERP systems.
  • Financial acumen a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Competency in overall supply chain and inventory strategies & practices.
  • APICS or ISM Certification (e.g., CPIM, CIRM, CSCM, CPM).
