AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. The Global Network Deployment (GND) organization is responsible for the cabling infrastructure, network hardware deployment, and program management across AWS data centers worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of creating sourcing plans, managing supplier performance, and working with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders.
As a Sourcing Manager, you will play a crucial role in the procurement and strategy of goods and services in support of AWS data centers. You will work with teams across networking, design engineering, and data center delivery to understand project requirements and translate that into material needs to drive on-time delivery for our customers.
