Job summary

TPI Global Solutions is seeking a Sourcing Manager for a 6-month contract, onsite across Michigan locations. You will lead sourcing activities for electric, gas, IT, and corporate functions, manage competitive events, and negotiate contracts with vendors.

The role requires 2–4+ years in sourcing, procurement, or strategic sourcing, plus experience with ERP systems such as SAP. Bachelor’s degree preferred; energy industry experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of sourcing, procurement, or strategic sourcing experience.
• Contracting and contract negotiation experience.
• Understanding of RFP/RFQ/RFI processes.
• Experience with contractors, suppliers, or vendors.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/procurement platform.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification is a plus.
• Utility/energy industry experience is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Potential locations include: Jackson, Lansing, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Royal Oak, Livonia, Saginaw, Bay City, and surrounding areas

Contract: 6-months with opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join a growing procurement/sourcing team supporting a variety of business functions, including Electric, Gas, Generation, IT, and Corporate operations.

This is a great opportunity for a sourcing professional who enjoys working with vendors and contractors, managing the sourcing process, negotiating contracts, and partnering with internal stakeholders to support business growth and major projects.

What You'll Do

• Manage sourcing activities across multiple business units, including electric, gas, generation, IT, and corporate functions
• Develop and manage RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and other competitive sourcing events
• Work with contractors and suppliers throughout the sourcing and contracting process
• Review, develop, and negotiate contracts, terms, and commercial agreements
• Coordinate internal approvals and route contracts/documents for required signatures
• Utilize SAP or another ERP/procurement system to manage sourcing and purchasing activities
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify needs, evaluate suppliers, and support business objectives
• Help support increased business demand associated with utility operations, data centers, infrastructure, and other major projects

What We're Looking For

• 2–4+ years of sourcing, procurement, or strategic sourcing experience
• Experience with contracting and contract negotiation
• Understanding of RFP/RFQ/RFI processes
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers, or vendors
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/procurement platform
• Experience with contract approval and signature-routing processes
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification is a plus
