Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events seeks a Sourcing Manager to support Life Sciences meetings in a regulated, detail-driven environment. You will source and contract venues for internal teams and healthcare providers, balancing compliance, budget, client expectations, and smart negotiation to keep meetings on track.

You will build budgets, track savings, and maintain accurate data across meeting technology platforms, while communicating clearly with clients and suppliers to keep projects moving forward.

About the Role

As a Sourcing Manager, you'll support Life Sciences meetings in a highly regulated, detail-driven environment, helping source and contract venues for internal teams and external healthcare providers. You'll be a key partner in balancing compliance, budget, client expectations, and smart negotiation to keep meetings running smoothly. If you’re energized by fast-moving decisions, polished client communication, and making every dollar work harder, this role brings plenty of impact.

• Sourcing and negotiating hotel and venue contracts while keeping healthcare provider spending guidelines and meeting policies front and center
• Building estimated budgets, tracking savings, and sharing clear budget updates throughout the sourcing process
• Managing multiple meeting priorities at once in a structured, deadline-focused environment where accuracy really matters
• Communicating confidently with clients, planners, and suppliers to align expectations and keep projects moving
• Maintaining organized, accurate data and documentation in meeting technology platforms and reporting tools

You Might Also Have

• International venue sourcing and contracting experience
• Experience supporting HCP meetings in a compliance-focused Life Sciences or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with Cvent or similar meeting management technology
• Travel industry knowledge and a strong understanding of destinations, seasonality, and supplier networks
• Experience working in a third-party meetings or event services environment

• This role is virtual and operates within the Eastern/ Central time zones
• This role requires annual travel, up to 25%

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Sourcing Manager is between $60,000 - $75,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
