Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to develop and lead end-to-end logistics solutions. You will drive RFQs/RFPs and negotiate contracts with logistics providers to secure favorable rates and terms.

Responsibilities include managing relationships with ocean freight forwarders and logistics service providers, identifying and onboarding suppliers, and continuously optimizing costs through detailed data analysis and cost forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS with 4+ years in logistics.
• Total experience of 7+ years in logistics, sourcing, or supply chain ops.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate insights.
• Experience in sourcing processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of global logistics operations, freight forwarding, and transportation management.
