Job summary

IREN is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager for Server & Storage Platforms to own multimillion-dollar OEM/ODM partnerships. You will lead negotiations, pricing, and supply commitments to accelerate data center deployments.

The role demands deep server/GPU compute knowledge, track record in high-stakes sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and finance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience sourcing server/compute or storage hardware from major OEM/ODM.
• Understanding of server architecture, GPU compute, and component supply chains.
• Proven success negotiating complex, high-value commercial agreements with OEM/ODM.

Responsibilities

• Own OEM/ODM compute sourcing relationships end-to-end: negotiations, pricing, quoting, contracting, and governance.
• Drive sourcing of compute & storage platforms — servers, GPU/AI systems, storage, and components for AI compute racks.
• Track GPUs, CPUs, memory, NICs, and power supplies; mitigate shortages before blockers.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Center Ops, and PM to align sourcing with build milestones.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, cost modeling, and TCO analyses for major hardware programs.
• Negotiate master purchase agreements, SLAs, warranties, and maintenance contracts.
• Monitor product roadmaps and shape sourcing strategy around new CPU/GPU generations.
• Own supplier performance and quarterly business reviews; enforce high standards.
• Build demand forecasts with capacity planning and finance for PO timing.
• Identify cost-savings and risk-mitigation opportunities; maintain audit-ready records.
