Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Director, Strategic Sourcing - What This Job Involves

Provide leadership and oversight for regional execution of annual sourcing plans across Integrated Facilities and Project Management clients as well as internal stakeholders related to optimization of JLL managed services operations and sourcing strategies. Lead and manage sourcing team responsible for sourcing plan execution globally while serving as the change leader, removing barriers and obstacles, ensuring timely execution of sourcing plans and reporting of savings that meet or exceed globally defined objectives and outcomes. A strong ability to influence clients, category management teams, regional sourcing teams, account teams, properties as well as suppliers, to ensure enrollment in sourcing initiatives.

  • Responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and communication of regional and global sourcing plans, ensuring a consistent and standard approach across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC as required.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in support of JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and program management.
  • Lead team of sourcing professionals and/or third-party consultants to achieve strategic outcomes and savings delivery, establish and run weekly/monthly steering calls to drive accountability and cross-region communication.
  • Prepare presentations, analyze data, and make recommendations for steering calls and management reports at all levels, including Global and Regional leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with clients and JLL Sourcing, Facility, and Property Management teams to drive immediate and sustained benefits.
  • Manage a sourcing team responsible for market trend analysis, supplier base analysis, and industry changes; report findings to leadership and stakeholders in a client-ready format.
  • Leverage global and regional supplier relationships and performance programs as part of sourcing strategy execution.
  • Support operations teams with RFP/bid, contracting, and operational processes, managing customer expectations proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with JLL’s sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Risk Management to ensure contractual compliance and proper review and approval processes.
  • Set work priorities, assign deliverables, and resolve issues to ensure client and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, with proven leadership in decentralized environments and the ability to influence without authority.
  • A strategic mindset and emotional intelligence to gain stakeholder buy-in and drive change.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university and/or 15+ years of strategic sourcing or related experience; MBA preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Location

Remote-based in the United States. Client prefers a hybrid work schedule in NY, VA, DC, or TX offices.
