Position: Sourcing Coordinator, Indirect (Indirect), reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, Indirect.

Employment type: Full‑time, Exempt.
Location: Long Beach, California.

Responsibilities

• Assist the facilities manager(s) in all aspects of project implementation as needed.
• Create and participate in meetings and presentations with executive leadership.
• Provide campus‑wide reporting on departmental spend, ticketing, and other metrics as requested.
• Maintain contracts for facilities services such as elevators, cranes, waste and recycling, pest control, landscaping, and other repair services.
• Obtain multiple bids from competing contractors by creating scopes of work.
• Perform job walk‑downs with vendors, engineers, supervisors, and managers.
• Work with the purchasing department to ensure vendors are approved, vetted, and insured.
• Assist with badges, International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and non‑disclosure agreement (NDA) requirements, and safety training.
• Create request for payments and assist buyers with vendor selection.
• Ensure purchase orders are accurate with no cost overruns.
• Coordinate to meet with the Vast end user and establish the scope of work.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another engineering discipline.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with facilities within an aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with space planning procedures and operations.
• Knowledge of computer applications and ability to navigate different software programs.
• Experience creating and updating request for proposals (RFPs), purchase orders (POs), and facilities work orders in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to make independent judgments with limited information.
• Communication skills for relaying data verbally and in‑writing between other employees, vendors, and customers.
• Logical and strategic approach to solving problems.
• Ability to read and understand basic floor plans.
• Comfortable working in a high‑stress environment, balancing several projects simultaneously, and flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic direction.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends to support critical mission milestones.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
• Specific certifications, as appropriate.

Pay Range: $22.50 – $32 USD.
