Job summary

Vizient is seeking an entry‑level sourcing coordinator to support contracting activities, data collection, RFP support, and supplier coordination. You'll assist with contract drafting, redlining, and negotiation prep under guidance from senior team members and Legal.

This hybrid role requires three days in the office at Irving, TX; Chicago, IL; or Centennial, CO, and occasional travel. No prior experience required; relevant degree preferred, strong analytical and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred in business, supply chain, legal studies, healthcare administration, or related field.
• No prior experience required.
• Interest in contract review, sourcing, negotiation, or supply chain functions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Hybrid work model with three days in office; Irving, TX; Chicago, IL; Centennial, CO.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract drafting, redlining, and document preparation under guidance.
• Support negotiation preparation by organizing materials and summarizing information.
• Gather data and basic market insights to support sourcing strategy.
• Create and distribute RFPs and collect supplier responses.
• Coordinate scheduling for supplier meetings and internal discussions.
• Maintain sourcing documentation, workflows, and templates.
• Support contract maintenance with updates and tracking changes.
• Prepare meeting materials, take notes, and track next steps.
• Provide general administrative and project support across sourcing activities.
• Develop foundational communication and relationship-management skills with suppliers and internal partners.
