Parker Hannifin is seeking a Commodity Manager to drive sourcing strategies for a defined business segment. You will lead a team or oversee Sourcing Agents to optimize total cost of ownership and supplier performance.
The role requires 8–10 years in sourcing, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, and proven contract negotiations with a global supplier base. Travel up to 30% may be needed.
The Commodity Manager is responsible for sourcing strategies and supply base performance for a defined business segment within that Division. The development of strategies and management of that supply base are achieved directly by the Commodity Manager, or may include leading a team of Sourcing Agents that are responsible for individual commodities.
This role can be locating in Cary, NC or Erie, PA.
