Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking a strategic sourcing professional to execute category strategies across our global brands.

You will partner with business groups to define specifications, perform market and spend analyses, and drive savings across the company. The role requires 2–4 years in strategic sourcing, a Bachelor's in Business, strong negotiation and communication skills, and experience with eProcurement tools such as Ariba Sourcing and eRFX.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of strategic sourcing experience or procurement consulting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field of study or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading project teams to achieve quantifiable savings using sourcing methods.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management experience; able to influence across a global organization.
• Knowledge of eProcurement and eCatalog management systems is a plus; Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Ariba Sourcing.

• Assist Managers in developing and executing a sourcing strategy.
• Assist in the supplier selection and negotiation process.
• Establish savings tracking methodology and report realized savings.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships for key suppliers across divisions.
• Assist in placing contracts for strategic purchases and large spot buys when no contracts exist.
• Process purchase orders as required.
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

Execute strategic sourcing projects for the assigned category to take advantage of savings opportunities across the Company..

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with customer groups to establish specifications for the assigned category.
• Perform market analysis, benchmark analysis and spend analysis for assigned category projects.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and complete a comparative analysis.
• Assist Managers in developing and executing a assigned sourcing strategy.
• Assist in the supplier selection and negotiation process.
• Establish savings tracking methodology, perform savings tracking, and report realized savings on a continual basis.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships for key suppliers across multiple business divisions.
• Assist in placing contracts for strategic purchases and large spot buys when no existing contracts exists.
• Process purchase orders as required.
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field of study or any equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE:

2-4 years of strategic sourcing experience or procurement consulting experience..

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Demonstrated success of leading project teams to achieving quantifiable savings by applying sourcing methods
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a global decentralized organization with minimal supervision
• Strong project management skills and results oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated success in gathering data, conducting analyses, and generating high quality outputs
• Strong negotiation management experience
• Knowledge of eProcurement and eCatalog management systems is a plus
• First hand working knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology is essential
• Technical knowledge and expertise in certain commodity areas is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Ariba Sourcing, eRFX and eAuction experience preferred
• Analytical, influencing, facilitating, teambuilding, strategic thinking, and process-driven skills
