Job summary

Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation seeks a Packaging Sourcing Analyst to support the Global Packaging department with cost analytics, inventory reporting, and supplier performance to enable swift sourcing decisions and near-term savings from Charlotte, NC. You’ll work cross-functionally to optimize procurement workflows and data integrity across packaging categories.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel and Power BI skills, ERP familiarity, and collaboration with suppliers, 3PLs, and internal teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred
  • 1 to 3+ years of experience in procurement, inventory management, supply planning, or logistics preferred
  • Experience working with Third Party or outsourced distribution networks strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Data Modeling) and Power BI dashboard development required
  • Experience with procurement analytics, supplier scorecards, and ERP master-data management preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, including seasonal and LTO-driven cycles

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels at 3PLs to ensure continuous availability of critical to shops packaging materials
  • Identify potential material constraints and recommend corrective actions (expedited orders, transfers, adjustments)
  • Create, manage, and track depletion plans for discontinued, slow-moving, or replaced packaging SKUs, ensuring depletion strategies minimize scrap, reduce cost, and maintain supply availability during transitions
  • Collaborate with suppliers, 3PL partners, and internal cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, or QA issues
  • Support package commercialization activities for new item launches, LTOs, and menu innovation projects.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement workflows, inventory accuracy, and 3PL processes
  • Build global spend analysis of the category and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support Procurement Productivity projects to improve and reduce total material costs
  • Improve ingredient data integrity to support accurate ordering, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate Oracle and Specification System item data, including item codes, specifications, vendor details, and sourcing regions
  • Coordinate item setup, specification readiness, supplier onboarding, and inventory transition plans.
  • Improve ingredient data integrity to support accurate ordering, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Monitor key packaging commodity markets including paperboard, corrugate, resin, and freight indices.
  • Develop reporting and insights to support forecasting, budgeting, supplier negotiations, and risk management.
  • Maintain packaging sustainability data, support EPR reporting requirements, and provide analytics supporting recyclability, recycled content, and sustainability goals.
  • Support development and maintenance of the Packaging Master Data framework, including: Packaging taxonomy, Commodity codes, Naming conventions, Supplier master governance, Specification accuracy

Krispy Kreme's Sourcing Analyst - Packaging will support the Global Packaging department through cost analytics, inventory reporting, and supplier performance to enable packaging sourcing decisions and accelerate near term savings. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to work cross functionally with internal and external partners, and an understanding of Supply Chain and Procurement.
