Drive Medical in Port Washington, NY is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to support procurement and supply chain objectives. You will identify suppliers, analyze data, and drive cost savings while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement strategic sourcing initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, 3+ years in sourcing/procurement, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Summary (Major Purpose Of The Role)

The Sourcing Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the organization's procurement and supply chain objectives by identifying, evaluating, and managing supplier opportunities that drive cost savings, quality improvements, and operational efficiency. This position leverages market research, data analysis, and strategic sourcing methodologies to assess supplier capabilities, monitor performance, and develop actionable insights that support business goals. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, the Sourcing Analyst supports supplier negotiations, procurement activities, purchase order management, reporting, and analytics while ensuring supplier compliance and service excellence. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, a solid understanding of supply chain principles, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Main Activities/Responsibilities

Reporting Relationships And Supervision

• This position will report directly to the Director of Sourcing and Procurement and will not have direct reports.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel or similar software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Preferred experience working in a corporate, or manufacturing, procurement/sourcing environment.
• Preferred familiarity with supplier relationship management and performance evaluation techniques.
• Preferred knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sourcing and procurement.

Pursuant to New York law, Drive Medical provides a salary range in job advertisements. The salary range for this role is from $81,500.00 to $92,000.00 annually. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, education, as well as the company’s requirements. The provided salary range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible according to the company’s policies.
