Position Overview

The Source to Procure Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the digital capabilities that enable Global Procurement and the end-to-end Source to Pay process. This role owns the implementation, adoption, sustainment, and continuous improvement of e-sourcing, contract lifecycle management, spend analytics, intake and demand management, and e-procurement capabilities. The position leads a team of 2 associates and partners across Procurement, Finance, IT, Data, Legal, and the business to keep the Source to Procure engine reliable, scalable, compliant, and value-focused. The successful candidate will finalize and enhance the digital roadmap, establish fit-for-purpose governance, define and communicate decision-enabling KPIs, guide users to preferred suppliers and buying channels, and measure whether each capability is delivering the intended adoption and business outcomes. This leader combines procurement process expertise, digital product ownership, data-driven decision-making, change leadership, and practical execution to help sourcing managers set or reset category strategies using trusted data and actionable insights.

Job Responsibilities
  • Digital Capability Strategy and Roadmap. Own, finalize, communicate, and continuously refresh the Source to Pay (focus on Source to Procure) digital roadmap. Translate procurement priorities into a sequenced portfolio for e-sourcing, contract lifecycle management, spend analytics, intake and demand management, and e-procurement, with clear outcomes, dependencies, investment needs, and change management. 10%
  • Digital Product Implementation and Sustainment. Lead the implementation, enhancement, integration, release management, and ongoing operational health of Source to Procure platforms. Ensure capabilities are stable, scalable, supported, and embedded in end-to-end processes; proactively manage issues, risks, and improvement backlogs to keep the Source to Procure engine up and running. 10%
  • Governance, Policy, and Process Control. Establish and chair governance for digital procurement capabilities, global procurement policies, workflows, controls, decision rights, minimal data standards, and process ownership. Confirm that policies remain current, practical, globally applicable, and aligned with the Source to Pay operating model, compliance requirements, and delegated authorities. 10%
  • Adoption, Training, and Change Management. Develop and execute role-based implementation, communication, training, and change plans. Build capability among sourcing managers, buyers, approvers, requisitioners, and other end users; monitor sustained usage, address adoption barriers, and reinforce new ways of working through targeted interventions. 10%
  • Performance Management and Value Realization. Define what good and success look like for each digital capability. Establish baselines, targets, benefits, service levels, and adoption measures; publish performance insights and lead corrective actions when outcomes, user experience, compliance, or value realization are below expectations.10%
  • Spend Analytics, Data, and Decision Enablement. Taxonomy stewardship, making sure quality and analytical requirements are fit for purpose, helping procurement teams to make their decisions and helping sourcing managers identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and set or reset category and supplier strategies. 10%
  • Intake, Demand, and Buying Channel Management. Optimize how business demand enters Procurement, is triaged, and is routed to the appropriate fulfillment path. Guide end users to preferred suppliers, catalogs, contracts, and buying channels; reduce unnecessary complexity, off-contract spend, rework, and cycle time while improving user experience and policy compliance.10%
  • Partner with the Invoice to Pay Leader. Work across upstream and downstream processes to evolve Source to Pay as one seamless process. Anticipate cross-process opportunities to improve productivity, remove inefficiencies, and resolve shared challenges. 10%
  • Team Leadership and Capability Building. Lead, coach, and develop two direct reports; establish clear accountability, priorities, performance expectations, and development plans. Build an inclusive, outcome-oriented team that combines procurement process expertise, digital product management, analytics, governance, and change leadership. 10%
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation. Maintain an external perspective on leading practices, automation, analytics, AI, and market capabilities. Apply structured problem solving to simplify and standardize processes, test improvements, scale proven solutions, and ensure innovation serves a clear business need rather than becoming technology for technology’s sake. 10%
