Introduction:

We are seeking a highly experienced Source Code Reviewer with a proven background in cybersecurity and application security to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our application security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of web-based applications, APIs, mobile apps, and other software systems through rigorous source code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in identifying and mitigating security risks across multiple layers of the software development lifecycle.

Responsible for assisting with the remediation of vulnerable code and implementation of security features in software codebases.

• Vulnerability Remediation: Work closely with application development teams to identify vulnerabilities in source code and provide suggested remediation plans.
• Cybersecurity Development Support: Provide support to assist with cybersecurity remediation efforts, including the configuration and maintenance of AWS environments.
• Security Recommendations: Provide proactive security recommendations to reduce the likelihood and impact of security events in the client development environment and source code.
• Best Practice Development: Develop and document application development, security, and operations procedures to allow teams to collaborate and execute effectively. Design and document patterns and common implementation designs to help satisfy common security and privacy requirements.
