The Role
Join our engineering team to build scalable infrastructure powering Syndicate Appchains. As a Software Engineer in SRE and DevSecOps, you will:
- Own and develop infrastructure components.
- Design scalable solutions on cloud platforms like Google Cloud and bare metal providers like Latitude.sh.
- Create automated deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Implement monitoring and observability for our distributed blockchain infrastructure.
- Build internal tools for engineering teams and the broader web3 ecosystem.
- Collaborate with software engineers to promote infrastructure best practices.
- Apply SRE principles for service stability and availability.
- Participate in on-call rotations to handle incidents.
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Integrate security practices into development (DevSecOps).
Requirements- 2+ years in DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, or Backend Engineering roles, ideally with distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one cloud platform.
- Monitoring tools experience (Grafana, DataDog, etc.).
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Basic blockchain knowledge.
- Eagerness to learn Rust.
- Networking, DNS, firewalls experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have- Experience with Rust, Go, C++, or similar.
- Web3 technologies familiarity.
- Basic smart contract development (Solidity).
- Blockchain protocols knowledge (Ethereum, rollups).
- Frontend frameworks (React).
