The Chula Vista Elementary School District seeks an Instructional Assistant/Student Attendant to support teachers by working with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning activities. The role includes modeling appropriate behaviors and maintaining confidentiality, with responsibility for operating classroom computer and AV equipment.
Applicants should be prepared to take the IA/SA exam, or have CBEST to waive the exam.
The ability to assist teachers by working with individual students on a one-to-one basis and/or with small groups of students to reinforce and enhance the various learning activities; ability to demonstrate and model learning and appropriate social behaviors; ability to maintain confidentiality of all information related to students; ability to operate computer or AV equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
In order to apply for this position and to be considered, you must have successfully passed the IA/SA exam. If you have a passing CBEST, it will waive the exam.
