Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC is hiring a Sorter to inspect and sort finished tile at our Oklahoma facility. The role requires standing for long periods, manual handling up to 50 pounds, and basic English communication. You will discard defects, monitor processes, and follow SOPs to maintain quality and safety.

Dal‑Tile is currently seeking a Sorter to join our TEAM! As the Sorter we need someone who can perform a variety of inspection and sorting finished tile.

Primary Objective

Inspects and sorts finished tile.

Major Function and Scope

• Inspects tile for shade and visual defects.
• Discards defective tile into trash hoppers.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

Performs Other Related Duties As Required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous manufacturing/production experience.

Competency

• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
